Patrick founded CG3 Consulting in Minneapolis, and has established the company as a key partner for clients who strive for commercial success in the healthcare, scientific and technology industries. Patrick recently expanded the firm's capabilities, adding consultants and medical directors and new office locations in Boston and San Diego. Prior to establishing CG3, Patrick was senior director at Medtronic in their $800 million Cardiovascular Division. Patrick started his career working as a surgical sales representative in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. He has served in senior marketing, market development and sales leadership positions at Boston Scientific, Baxter, Johnson & Johnson, and four start-up medical device companies - two of which had successful liquidity events. Patrick is a graduate of Northern Michigan University, and has an MBA from California Coastal University. Dr. Wheatley is a cardiovascular surgeon in Phoenix and is an internationally recognized leader in endovascular therapies for aortic diseases.  He strives to help improve and develop the next generation of endovascular device technologies.  He is a member of many professional societies and frequently presents at national and international meetings of cardiovascular specialists.  Besides his busy clinical practice, Dr. Wheatley trains fellows and visiting physicians in the latest endovascular therapies and is a principal investigator on numerous research studies.  As founder and medical director of CVMD.org, Dr. Wheatley was the first physician to offer cardiovascular educational programming to his patients through podcasts.  CVMD.org has received over 5 million hits since launch and is an important resource for patients and physicians. Dr. Foley is the Director of Preventive Vascular Services for Minnesota Vascular Clinic in Edina. He brings a passionate and enthusiastic level of expertise to the appropriately aggressive medical treatment of high risk vascular disease patients. Dr. Foley additionally serves on the medical staff at Fairview Oxboro Clinic in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Foley developed a practice centered upon quality-driven treatment of diabetic and vascular disease patients. He was key in authoring the diabetic treatment protocols at the clinic, which received national recognition. He has participated in numerous clinical trials for diabetic and vascular disease management. Dr. Foley completed his residency at The Medical College of Wisconsin, and graduated from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. His undergraduate degree is from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Doug has 20 years of experience in product concept development and commercialization in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. His well-rounded background in sales, marketing, finance and engineering provides insights that drive early stage technologies and companies to successful commercialization. Doug held several marketing leadership positions for smaller start-up companies. He “earned his stripes” working at Fortune 500 companies Abbott Laboratories and Pfizer, and has held medical sales positions over the course of his career.  With an analytical and technical mind - he has been both an industrial engineer and a financial analyst—Pletcher will be a unique addition to the CG3 team.Doug earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Iowa State University, and his M.B.A. at UCLA. Craig has spent 20 years in the medical device and technology field as both an executive and a management consultant. Having worked for Stryker, Hill-Rom and PRTM Management Consultants, as well as a number of smaller start-up companies, Craig has deep experience in marketing and sales, product development and business strategy.  His medical device experience includes capital equipment (patient handling and imaging), diagnostics (laboratory and POC) and disposables (wound care, ostomy care, drug delivery). His technology industry experience includes electronics, semiconductors, power generation, industrial automation and chemicals. Craig received his M.B.A. in marketing and strategy from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, and his B.A. in history from Middlebury College. Dan has 26 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and had tenure with such companies as Eli Lilly & Co, Diversified Pharmaceutical Services, Upsher Smith, and other start-up companies.  He has successfully helped companies grow by utilizing his extensive experience in sales, marketing, business development and reimbursement.  Dan has worked in a variety of therapeutic areas such as diabetes, neurology, anti-infectives, osteoporosis, cardiology, cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and many others. His extensive experience in working with products from early development through commercialization means that clients will gain successful counsel in bringing their own ideas to fruition.
