Patrick founded CG3 Consulting in Minneapolis, and has established the company as a key partner for clients who strive for commercial success in the healthcare, scientific and technology industries. Patrick recently expanded the firm's capabilities, adding consultants and medical directors and new office locations in Boston and San Diego.
Prior to establishing CG3, Patrick was senior director at Medtronic in their $2.3 billion Cardiovascular Division. Patrick started his career working as a surgical sales representative in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. He has served in senior marketing, market development and sales leadership positions at Boston Scientific, Baxter, Johnson & Johnson, and four start-up medical device companies - two of which had successful liquidity events.

Christopher Foley, MD
Dr. Foley is the Director of Preventive Vascular Services for Minnesota Vascular Clinic in Edina. He brings a passionate and enthusiastic level of expertise to the appropriately aggressive medical treatment of high risk vascular disease patients.
Dr. Foley additionally serves on the medical staff at Fairview Oxboro Clinic in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Foley developed a practice centered upon quality-driven treatment of diabetic and vascular disease patients. He was key in authoring the diabetic treatment protocols at the clinic, which received national recognition. He has participated in numerous clinical trials for diabetic and vascular disease management.
Dr. Foley completed his residency at The Medical College of Wisconsin, and graduated from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. His undergraduate degree is from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Kathy Leith has over 20 years of marketing experience with more than a decade of healthcare and medical device background specializing in product and market development and product commercialization. Her diverse experience from Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-ups has resulted in a proven track record of increasing responsibility and achievement in building businesses.
Kathy has held leadership positions for several small start-up medical device companies. She has also contributed at General Mills, Procter and Gamble, UnitedHealthcare, Boston Scientific and medical device start-up companies including products for cardiology, sleep apnea, pulmonology and patient warming. Her diverse skills and ability to think like a general manger makes her a savvy collaborator with high energy executives delivering mission critical results.
Kathy earned her BBA at the University of Wisconsin –Whitewater and her MBA at the University of St. Thomas.
Doug has 20 years of experience in product concept development and commercialization in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. His well-rounded background in sales, marketing, finance and engineering provides insights that drive early stage technologies and companies to successful commercialization.
Doug held several marketing leadership positions for smaller start-up companies. He “earned his stripes” working at Fortune 500 companies Abbott Laboratories and Pfizer, and has held medical sales positions over the course of his career. With an analytical and technical mind - he has been both an industrial engineer and a financial analyst—Pletcher will be a unique addition to the CG3 team.
Doug earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Iowa State University, and his M.B.A. at UCLA.
Ed has held several finance and marketing leadership positions within the medical device industry with companies such as Medtronic, Boston Scientific and American Medical Systems. He has supported global business P&Ls, provided analytical support to M&A groups, and has led the execution of multiple product launches in several international markets. Ed brings a wide breadth of analytical and technical experience having been an engineer and an intelligence analyst with the Department of Defense.
Ed holds a B.A. in Chemistry from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and an M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
